Flash CS6 PNG Transparency

CS6 made it less obvious to create PNGs with transparency/alpha channel. Yeesh.
THAT'S MY FINAL PINEAPPLE.

Three Months Later...

Shiroi and Ivan! I wanted to try a softer look with thin lines. Turned out pretty good and I enjoyed it.

And Here is a simple LT "doll" I made in about two hours. :) Blogger did weird compression things to it...I would like to offer these as possible commissions in the future.

So far this year art has been... Alright for me. Nothing too exciting. Still helping with Drawing with Mark and I'm happy to say that things are looking really good! We are done with all the horrendous masking-over-the-creepy-puppet phase! It's all green screen from here. I've been altering parts of my resume and websites lately... Searching here and there for jobs. I feel like my art is suffering because I've been bogged down with trying to get a day job, still. Ho-hum. So that doesn't put me in the best of moods.

I've also been getting back into sewing! Mostly small dolls... I'll have to add a separate entry for them soon and maybe talk about my experience for far.

Halloween 2012 Angels

So I've been working here and there as an animator for Drawing with Mark. Most of the stuff I've done is for their DVD release in the spring so you can't see them anywhere. However, here's a Halloween short we just finished:

Family Day Pt. 2

A second poster I made. This was something extra I suggested and got an okay to do. I think it turned out super cute. @w@ I did the people in Illustrator and finished in Photoshop. Both pieces are different and they taught me a lot!

Family Day Pt. 1

This is a 20x16 poster I did for ASU's up coming Family Day in September! I think it's pretty much done we're just working on finishing the text?
Overall, I had fun and liked how it turned out. But it took so long to complete it (nearly 6 months) that I fell, eh, about some of the earlier parts. My client likes it so I'm happy too. :> YAY FOR MY FIRST FREELANCE PROJECT! \m/
PS: Blogger's new design feels icky and weird. :S

Dope Cover Art

Have that random image you like but don't know what to do with? Make it into cover art for a mix CD your friend made you six-years ago! The text looks better full size.

Day 12: Minerva

Pokemon Trainer, Minerva. Left her job at Silph Co. to become a Pokemon trainer at the age of 26. Her favorite Pokemon is Xatu. On her left shoulder she has a tattoo of Kadabra's star and squiggly lines (get's mistaken for a 'shooting star!'). Has very little of a love life because she gets mistaken for a man.

30 Characters 30 days

I'm unofficially participating in the challenge, however none of them look nice enough to share just yet. I actually want to make them look decent...Raul, pictured here, though is the exception. He'll be colored later.

Raul the kyubi, chooses to fight on the human side. Admired for his actions. Has a prosthetic paw thanks to human technology that some of his kitsune brethren frown upon.
Photo of the fox from here. Also, F-yeah bionic dog!!!!

Eel gijinka 1

These suddenly got popular on Tumblr so I jumped in. A nice exercise- Design a human based off of an eel avatar you create.

I'd like to do more.
